1.Well technically if u move around alot u will burn calories.. but if u do the extreme dances then u would end up losing more catergories. I dont really take a class but i go to a dance studio that my mom’s friend owns so she just gives me lessons with her kids. We started with the classical stuff thats like ballad.. waltz ect and that didnt really help me lose any wieght but then we moved to faster moves like Chacha and hiphop. I think those kinda dance helped me loss weight more. So all dances help u lose wright but the faster ones makes u lose weight faster.
2.Yes you can.You can even lose weight if you walk half an hour per day.But obviously with a healthy diet as well.No point dancing all your way out but then indulge in food with high calories. In order to lose weight, your calories intake must be lesser than the energy that you burn.
3.Dancing in high heels not only allows you to lose weight, but also makes your legs look great! i used to take salsa and ballroom dancing classes in high heels, and it definitely toned me up, not to mention you get to learn how to dance! that and i used to go partying a lot at clubs and dance LOL. so that burns calories (though the beer and drinking afterwards definitely added the calories back haha!)
4.The best way to loose body fat is to do a lot of cardio exercises. This can include a variety of things such as running, stair master, skipping rope, even walking. You want activities that will increase the heart rate and get the blood pumping throughout your body. Make sure you drink plenty of water too as the first few pounds you loose is most likely water weight.
Dancing would be a great form of exercise. Lots of movement to do and if you have the right kind of music (find upbeat ones that are moderate to fast), you’ll move along to the beat.
If you’re into weights, that’s not really a way to loose body fat per say, but more muscle building and toning. It’s possible to loose some fat too doing this but not a lot.
Best is to do cardio.
