Question: omg i have an earring problem. i just got my second whole like 2-3 weeks ago and now its puffy and infected, i took off the earring would the hole still be there? and what should i do to the infection?
Solutions:
1.If you take your earring out, the hole will close after the infection has healed. When you get a piercing you MUST take care of it properly. Did you clean your piercing with a salt solution or soemthing the piercer gave you?! That’s pretty important. Since you took the earring out, you will probably need to get it re-pierced. Also, see your pericer about your infection.
2.I had trouble with my second earring also. If i remember correctly i think i put the disinfectant solution (i got a green kind) on both my ear hole and on the earring and i left it inside. I used the solution like 3 times a day. I took it off one day and then put it back on the next day. Eventually my ears got better. I’m not sure how severe your swelling is but you should go back to the place where you had your ears pierced and have them check it out.
3.wow i just got my 2nd hole like 6 weeks ago and last night the right side got infected. (actually it always kinda hurt but it didnt bother me that much so i thought it would go away on its own.. until last night it hurt too much that i took my earring out) . Anyway.. you can just take the stem of any tea leaf and put it in the hole. you leave it in for about a week and your ears should be fine… and you wont have to re pierce your ears my friend told me about this and i tried it this morning. my ear doesnt hurt as much anymore.
4.Hmm the best way is to continuously clean the earring hole. Remember to turn the earring and always wash with the cleaner and a cotton ball. The infection does suck (I had it before too) but keep going. Eventually the infection will go away and your ear will heal. If you take the earring out, clean it before putting it back in to get rid of any lingering bacteria or pus. if it gets worse, go see a doctor
