A stage performance of the musical Sound of Music at the closing ceremony of the Harbin Summer Music Concert concluded the 10-day event on Thursday in the host city in northeast China.
The festival showcased performances by Harbin Orchestra and the Berlin Orchestra from Germany, and performances by artists from ten countries including the US, Russia, Israel, Turkey and Egypt.
The annual vocal music competition was also held during the festival, unveiling a group of new talents.
The festival was well received internationally for its diverse and world class performances.
The Harbin Summer Music Concert is held every two years.[CRI]
