Chinese mainland singer Hu Yanbin will release his new album in Taiwan on Friday, which will be the first day of operation for the weekend cross-Straits charter flights. The day is also Hu’s birthday.
China News Service reported that the release of the album was postponed for one month since another LP/CD with high-quality music was added into the album.
Besides promoting his album, Hu was also offered a contract for holding concerts in Taiwan at the press conference for the album release.
If the process goes smoothly, Hu could become the first mainland singer to hold large-scale ticketed concerts in Taiwan.
Hu has been promoting his album in Taiwan for a month.
