Animals at the Tianjin municipality zoo were not left out during the Lantern Festival on Thursday.
“We provided the animals with more than 100 different types of food including rice dumplings, a special treat for the holiday, zookeepers said.
Seeing the rice dumplings, monkeys flocked to a feeding area and fought over the delicacy never offered before. Bears, too were not left out. Apart from their favorite food, they were also given red lanterns to play with for good luck.
