(China Daily)

A resident of Danyang, Jiangsu Province, was finally able to get a good night’s sleep after technicians removed a nest and a just-hatched bird from the air-conditioner in his bedroom.

Cai said the air-conditioner had been installed two years ago, but of late, he had been hearing the chirping of birds from it. Unable to endure the noise and also fearing that the bird may die, Cai called in the two technicians, who found a big nest of grass and feathers on the filter board, cradling a fledgling and an egg. The technicians said it was a miracle the bird had not been injured by an electric shock.
