A pair of Hong Kong brothers died within one hour of each other when the rich one crashed his Ferrari and the poor one committed suicide.
The tragedies occurred on Monday morning, when a 51-year-old factory owner, surnamed Chan, drove his Ferrari to a restaurant for breakfast. His car hit a barrier on Yuen Long road at about 6:45 am. Chan died in the ensuing fire. Apparently unaware of the accident, Chan’s 59-year-old brother jumped from his apartment building in Tsing Yi at 7:30 am. The minibus driver suffered from chronic disease and was divorced by his wife last month.
