Buses in Yinchuan, the capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, have been playing anti-theft songs in the hope of deterring robberies.
A policeman in Changchun, Jilin Province, wrote the main song, “Don’t Give Thieves a Chance”, as well as two others. They have proved a hit in Yinchuan.
“We welcome the songs, which help remind us to take precautions against thieves,” a local resident said.
