Zhang Xinquan is an unusually good calligrapher and can even write upside down, standing on his head.
The 59-year-old from Changde, Hunan Province, started practicing calligraphy aged six, and moved on to headstands and writing from this position in 2002.
Zhang’s calligraphy works have been exhibited around the country and he is well known among other calligraphers.
Zhang said, unlike most calligraphers, he practices kungfu and yoga to improve his art.
