The Zhengzhou municipal bureau of civil affairs has issued a notice to ban words like “tycoon” and “beautiful girl” from lonely hearts advertisements next month.
The move is aimed preventing marriage swindles and standardizing the language used in personal ads.
Any dating agency violating the notice will receive punishments including temporary suspension and even the loss of their operating licenses.
