Liu Jun, a young man from Henan Province, recently pedaled his bike backwards into Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, to show his support for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Surprised locals gave him a warm welcome, though some people said it is not safe to ride backwards. He set off form his hometown in Lushan County on November 26 and plans to ride all the way to Beijing. He rides 80-90 km a day in the hope of drawing attention to the upcoming Games.
