A fisherman hauled in a mysterious bone late last year off the coast of Linhai, Zhejiang province.
Jin Liangzhuan has been fishing for nine years. When he pulled his net from 65-m-deep waters last year, he found nothing but the fish bone.
It’s nearly 3 m long and weighs 42 kg and drew quite a crowd to Jin’s home - but nobody has been able to identify the species.
