A 60-year-old man is being ignored by the seven women he supported after completing a 15-year sentence for bigamy in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. Jiang Jiming, who used to be a labor contractor, was a well-known figure in the provincial capital when he was reported by local media to have seven wives and concubines. He was sentenced to jail in 1991.
None of his former wives and concubines, whom Jiang had purchased apartments for, had any interest in Jiang after he was released from prison late last year. Jiang is currently living in a shabby house in Guangzhou’s Baiyun District.
