A young man fell when climbing out a fourth floor window to escape from a jealous love rival.

The 27-year-old man surnamed Lam returned to the home of his girlfriend, Ngou, in Tin Shui Wai, Hong Kong at 5 am on Sunday after spending the night out. When he went to the bathroom, Ngou called her other boyfriend, Tsang, but aroused Tsang’s suspicion.

Lam hid in the bathroom when Tsang arrived. Hearing Tsang threatening to kill him, Lam decided to climb to the platform on the second floor. He fell and suffered a bone fracture.

Ngou was arrested along with Tsang, for biting her brother, who criticized her for being unfaithful.
