A couple of young office workers from Dalian, Northeast China’s Liaoning Province, dislike washing dishes so much they have been buying new ones instead.
Some time ago they got into the habit of cooking for themselves, but quarreled with each other about who should do the dishes afterward.
In the end and after they could hardly move in the kitchen for the amount of pots and plates they had collected, they called in a housemaid, surnamed Xu.
“I have never seen such lazy people,” Xu said, after taking over two hours to wash all the pots, plates and pans they had bought and dirtied.
