More than 3,000 Changsha residents hit the streets of Changsha, the Hunan provincial capital, to say “I love you” to pedestrians on Sunday.
They included local senior citizens, university students, white collar workers and children.
They were also encouraged to say “Thank you” when receiving help.
The campaign to say “I love you” to strangers was organized by local media to help narrow the gap between Changsha residents and non-residents.
