A bird park in Changsha, capital of Hunan Province, has had a difficult time helping a mountain griffon vulture find a spouse.
The griffon vulture, named Biao Biao, is so fastidious that it has refused courtship from nine female candidates in the past month.
Staff said Biao Biao even bullied the candidate birds he did not like.
In the coming months, the bird park plans to expand its region in efforts to find a female partner for the picky Biao Biao.
The previous nine candidates have all come from Southwest China’s Yunnan Province.
