An owner of a shop repairing household electrical appliances in the city of Tonghua in Jilin province has invited a burglar to work for him.
The burglar is said to have repeatedly stolen from his shop.
“I’ll give him a job at my shop if he stays jobless for too long and has to make a living stealing things,” said the shop owner, surnamed Yang.
He got the idea on Monday after his shop was burgled.
“I had to close down my shop after he stole all of my repair tools, including a welding machine.”
