The mother of a teen girl in Dalian, Liaoning Province, who thought finding love letters written by her 14-year-old was shock enough was to receive another jolt when her daughter explained what the letters were all about.

When Li asked the teenager if she was involved with someone the girl laughed and said she had written the letters for her classmates to earn some pocket money. She boasted that her writing skills were so good that many of her classmates, mostly boys, sought her out to pen love letters to the girls they liked.

“Every such letter can earn me 10 yuan ($1.2),” she informed her dumb-struck mom.
