(China Daily)
Police in Taiwan are impressed by the diligence of a couple of thieves who learned lock-cracking skills from books and became experts in the field.
The twosome were seized recently in Taiwan as suspected professional thieves. At a raid on their residence police found piles of stolen goods including mobile phones, cameras and jewelry as well as a large variety of tools. They also found an encyclopedia covering skills in unlocking all kinds of doors.
The thieves even created a machine to help decode anti-theft electrical censor systems. They said they had stolen from most areas in Taiwan over the past two years and had no idea of how many locks they had cracked.
