A woman in Qingdao, Shandong Province, postponed signing a contract lastFriday to save a stray cat.
The woman, surnamed Li, was on her way to sign a business contract when shesaw a cat in the middle of the traffic. It was walking on its two front legs andits rear legs were covered with blood and broken.
Li stopped her car to let the cat pass, but the cat hid under the car,refusing to move. With police help, Li rescued the cat and took it to a nearbypet hospital. The head of the pet hospital was touched by Li’s compassion andgave the cat free treatment.
