J-Stars’s head of family, Sun De Rong, leads 5566, 183club and 7Flowers etc for the annual spring gathering. Huang Yu Rong who is filming ‘Date under the flower tree’ especially asked for some time off from the drama team in order to attend the gathering.
Huang Yu Rong who is filming far away in foreign location hurried to the spring gathering wearing casual clothes. When he say Ming Dao who is wearing a formal suit, he said ‘My dressing is so inferior to yours, how to face people!’ Wang Shao Wei who is also part of 183club jumped out to help him ‘I am dressed like you also! It’s Ming Dao who is different!’ He also jokingly asked Ming Dao to be the service boy and serve them tea and towel. Even though members left the team one by one, the friendship between the three of them is still very close.
Today all members of J-Stars turned up. Even though last year saw many people coming and going, the artistes also branched out of Taiwan and head for China to open up the market; but everybody still encourage each other over last year, and more good work for the coming 2008.
J-Stars’s Shao Wei and Qiao En are the most prominent in the company last year, with good results in many areas and even more works planned for the new year. The two of them said modestly that it’s due to good luck. Qiao En grabbed the chance to promote her new drama Fated To Love You: ‘Hope that everybody will support, because I can finally break free of Ming Dao’ s pestering.’ Ming Dao shot back indignantly: ‘It’s only two dramas.
