Leo and Charlene were filming King of Fans in Beijing the night before in a scene where Leo brought Charlene’s luggage to her, but left him in the streets after retrieving the luggage. Charlene already work through a few nights filming two movies and only has two days off at new year’s so she looked quite tired.
Charlene had been giving out red pockets in recent years, about 6-digits each year, so to compensate for that, she’s already planning to go around asking for red pockets during her vacation. On the 3rd (Feb 20), Twins will be at the horse racing track and will wish everyone a prosperous year even if they don’t know the person.
Charlene said that the biggest red pockets she had received were from Jackie and Albert Yeung, but hadn’t gotten 5-digit amounts in a long time, mostly 4-digits now. She was asked if she thought of giving out less, she said, “I can’t do that, it will look bad, I give out a 6-digit amount in total every year, mostly for the crew. But I don’t know why there are so many reporters now, sometimes there’s 50 of them in one function. My mom’s usually the one who helps me prepare the red pockets.” Charlene laughed that she might need to go somewhere else during new year’s, but of course, it has to be a place where there’s not doggy reporters, she heard that not a lot of HK people go to Croatia and Dubai during new year’s.
Valentine’s Day is coming, Charlene said that she’ll be in Beijing for Twins Mission’s premiere. She was asked what kind of present she wants to receive, she said she wants to receive presents everyday, but it doesn’t have to do anything with the cost because having the heart is more important. She said that she used to buy presents for friends or self make some chocolates for them, but there’s no time to do so now. She sighed that it’s a pity she had never received anything that was well thought out.
Charlene revealed that she had filled a bottle with colored chocolate and sent it to her boyfriend in England with a cute photo of herself. She also thought of knitting a scarf for her boyfriend, but found that boys doesn’t feel any different rather a scarf is bought or hand knitted, so she didn’t do it afterall. Charlene said that she’ll be very happy if a man can make chocolate for her because a man’s time is very hard to get, one is work, two is games, she would be very capable if she can get the man’s time.[by edisonLOVEScharlene]
