Cyndi Wang Declared Herself a ‘Pretty Slut’

The lovely and angelic Cyndi Wang attended the Hit FM broadcast of the ‘Hito Student Association.’ Hit FM’s slogan is ‘Hear the Music Only.’ The program was organized to allow Cyndi Wang spend time with 20 of her fans. During the programming, Cyndi Wang was very active and played games with the audience. While preparing lunch boxes with the audience, Cyndi threw her lovely and angelic image out the window by mimicking Karen Mok’s slutty character in the movie ‘God of Cookery.’ Cyndi Wang who has always been vain had shamelessly declared herself as a ‘Pretty Slut.’

Despite having doubts in the validity of the saying ‘to capture of man’s heart, one must capture his tummy first,’ Cyndi Wang said that she has confidence in her culinary skills. She claimed that her superb culinary skills would definitely be able to capture men’s tummies.

Cyndi Wang confessed her love for cooking, adding that she used to watch cooking programs on TV, with ‘Ah Hong Shang Cai’ being her favorite cooking show. She learned how to cook new dishes from these programs. Cyndi Wang also claimed that she could do her own cooking show. Her specialty includes mapo tofu, curry rice, grilled pork, etc. However, she added that besides her family, none of her friends have tasted her cooking before. Upon hearing that, the fans reacted by saying that she was boasting. In retaliation, Cyndi Wang told her fans that she would cook a feast for her fans next time in order to curb their skepticism towards her cooking ability.

Cyndi Wang who had always acted very cool, had a lot of fun with her fans. She declared to her loyal fans that ‘the sweet and angelic Cyndi Wang has changed!’ Cyndi Wang said that it might be because she had been interacting with her fans personally that she was infected by them; thus changing from being a shy to an extraordinarily active girl. During the programming, Cyndi Wang had not only played the ‘kissing’ game with her fans and the staff on duty, she had also dragged her manager to play the game along with the fans. Cyndi Wang’s 5 minutes’ display of affection with a kiss on the hand with a male fan sent the crowd crazy. After the games, Cyndi Wang had belted out several of her songs with the fans. The atmosphere was electrifying.

Her ‘Pretty Slut’ impersonation had triggered a loud but welcoming reaction from the fans; which had left the media with a strong impression. She expressed that she won’t deny the possibility of challenging such roles in the future, provided that she could still dress up nicely. In response to both of her previous drama series where she played the role of a cheerful girl, she protested to the director that, “Other than being a cheerful and optimistic girl, I’m capable of pulling off other roles as well!” She also mentioned that her ideal acting partner would be Maggie Cheung and Tony Leung. However, she said that it would be really hard for this dream to materialize.

As the month of the Hungry Ghost Festival is approaching, when asked whether she would act in horror movies, she said that it’s impossible. Due to her timid nature, she is also afraid of ghost. It would be a disaster if she ended up meeting a real ghost.[by francesca]
