This year, the 《2007年度十大勁歌金曲頒獎典禮》 (JSG Award 2007) was held at the 紅館. According to sources, Eason Chan and Joey Yung would become big winners and they will win most of the awards. Eason and Joey can become ‘Most Popular Male/Female Singer’ again. Joey would have a chance of winning ‘Asia Pacific’s Most Popular Female Singer’. There are a lot of cries for Hins Cheung to win a gold song award with 《酷愛》. Even though Susanna Kwan’s song isn’t as popular as Hins’ 《酷愛》 but her song 《講不出聲》, is the theme song of ‘Heart of Greed’. Therefore, if her song wins it won’t be too much of a surprise. This year, Denise Ho’s 《木紋》 is on the borderline because she doesn’t have a good relationship with TVB. TVB might kick her out of the top ten. Ivana Wong, who shares the same label as Denise, may win instead. 東亞 wants to protect Denise and hopes that she would win an award. They are trying hard to get TVB place her in the top ten and have Ivana win the 「最受歡迎唱作歌星獎」 instead.
金牌 is protecting Justin Lo’s 《男人KTV》 into the top ten and has given up on Stephy Tang. Stephy Tang didn’t win any awards at the 《叱耢頒獎禮》 even though Eason said her song, 《電燈膽》, was better than his ‘Crying In The Party’.
This year Andy Lau won’t be attending the JSG award show. A lot of awards that would fall into Andy’s hand would instead go to Eason and Joey. Eason would win the 「最受歡迎華語歌曲獎」 (Most Popular Chinese Song) and Joey would win the 「最受歡迎廣告歌曲大獎」 (Most Popular Commercial Jingle). Hacken Lee would get the ‘Asia Pacific’s Most Popular Male Singer’. Hins Cheung, Eric Suen or Kary Ng would win the 「2007年度傑出表現獎」 (2007 Outstanding Performance Award).
As for the 「最受歡迎新人獎」 (Most Popular New Singer), Raymond Lam won’t win the gold award even though he is TVB’s ’son’. Jason Chan would win gold, Raymond would get silver and Parkho Chau would get bronze. Ken Hung would get the 「新人薦場茘星獎」. The ‘Most Popular New Female Singer’ award will be Sherman Chung, Elanne Kwon, or Wada Hiromi. Hacken would get the 「2007四台聯頒音樂大獎」. [by mv_288]
