Joey Yung, Eason Chan, Vincy Chan, Kelvin Kwan, Jill Wei and EO2 attended the filming of Jade Solid Gold on Wednesday night. Favourite Female, Male Singer award winners, Joey and Eason performed each other songs. Despite Joey having a few mistakes, the show was brought to a high when the two performed Alan Tams 愛情陷阱.
Regarding her mistakes while singing, Joey explained that she was quite frightened but thankfully, the producer allowed for 3 reshoots. When asked if she felt that she is attached to the music industry and that she feels that she has a mission to complete, Joey laughed and told reporters not to exaggerate that much because she is only trying to do her best. About the issue of there being a bigger fight for the Best Male Singer Award than the Best Female Singer Award this year, Joey expressed that such rumours are only debatable for a small period of time and that singers do not care about such topics.
As for Eason winning the Favourite Male Singer Award, it has been said that TVB was given the exclusive right to broadcast Korean superstar, Rains concert and interview footage by Easons manager, thus taking the award away from Leo Ku. Regarding such reports, Eason expressed that it is only rumours and believes that awards are not treated in such a way. When asked if he found such comments unfair, Eason replied, It should actually be said to be unfair to the music industry. Everyone has worked hard for the music awards, no one wants it to be degraded like that. As for Leo and his fans arguing in online forums, Eason believes that fans should not harm their idol and their own reputation in such away and that the arguing is stupid. [by dee-lush]
