The 2nd Annual Hong Kong Music Fair (HKMF), co-organized by The Hong Kong Trade Development Council and the IFPI, will be held on March 21 - 23, on the 7th floor of the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre. The IFPI invited Kelly Chen, Eason Chan, Janice Wei, Miriam Yeung, Twins, Hins Cheung, Fiona Sit, Hacken Lee, Joey Yung, Karen Mok, and Leo Ku to re-sing songs by the late Anita Mui, Leslie Cheung, Roman Tam, and Beyond band member Wong Ka Kui’s greatest hits. A CD will be released with the newly recorded songs and will be sold for $100 HKD per CD. Several thousand copies will be released and profits from the sales will go towards their Anti-Piracy Fund.
Also, different artists will be performing on the 7th floor of the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre each night, and citizens are urged to go and see for themselves. [by 60699]
