After last year’s diary incident, it has makes Zheng Yuan Chang’s sexual preference being questioned, and also makes the straightforward him to learn to keep his distance with the media. But, when the new series [Honey and Clover] has make Zheng Yuan Chang as [the man who wears flowery print clothes], he immediately accepted it and does he not afraid of being called [girlie]’ He laughed and said: [I will show everyone how manly a guy can be while wearing the flowery print clothing, just wait and see.]
In [Honey and Clover] he is playing the role Takumi Mayama, because he is very popular in the school and the original manga story did arranged Takumi to wear flowery print shirt to show that he is very eye-catching indeed. After Zheng Yuan Chang has analyzed the script, he said: [Takumi will involve between the two ladies played by Tracy Su and Janine Zhang, although basically he is not a player here but he is very ambiguous when comes to relationship. Before the filming starts Zheng Yuan Chang has especially traveled to Japan to buy some clothes, [Basically in Taiwan, men’s flowery print clothes are not the main tread yet.] He has used about NT$10thousand to buy about 10 flowery shirt and majority of them were from Shibuya Shopping Mall and Ginza Shopping Mall. He said: [My role in this series, no only his clothes are flowery print but need quite a lot too, so the production team even when to buy some flowery print materials to especially make the shirt for me. Because in the series, Eddie Peng will also borrow some of my shirt, and I end up wearing new clothes everyday for the whole month.]
He also admits that this role is very different from the ones that he has been doing. This time his role will not be that appealing but he likes to have more challenge this New Year. [Don’t you think that you will get to meet this kind of people everyday’ And people’s life is not a straight line anyway.] From [The Rose] to [They Kiss Again], the idol series that star by Zheng Yuan Chang have been receiving high ratings, but due to his mature personality, he is still wavering when it comes to reality, and the way he views [life], he totally didn’t include anything fantasy of the idol series.[by kassy]
