Jolin Went to England to Learn Dance , Ride Underground Train to Travel Around
Taiwan Diva Jolin Tsai went to England to learn dance. record company arranged good food and good place to stay and even arranged for transportation. but she insisted on becoming ” underground train princess”. she brought the boss to travel around with the train.
Jolin was in England to learn new dance for her next album. The fee for the whole trip was not low. The teachers even gave her special task , asked her to go to the latest Broadway show in England called “Wicked” because it’s a homework from teacher. Jolin straight away went to buy the ticket. The ticket cost her around 75 pounds (around 4924 taiwan dollars). She brought a group of people to go and watch the show with her. The costs are not low.
But EMI director Chen Zi Shan promised that this whole travel fee will be absorbed by the company. They even arranged for a hotel which must be more than 25000 taiwan dollars every night to let Jolin rest well at night and be energetic in the morning again for lessons. But the thing that shocked Jolin’s colleagues the most is that , even though she was labelled as the one of the highest earning Taiwan entertainer last year , once she was out from the hotel , she went straight to the underground train station and insisted not to travel with taxi.
Jolin went to England to study before. Her English speaking ability is good. Jolin said that she was well trained in taking England’s underground train and she brought her boss to travel around with the train , “because taking the train is simple and cheap”. Even for food , her colleague brought her to high class restaurant to eat. She always ordered for cheapest and most simple dishes.
Even though she has simple lifestyle there , Jolin was very hardworking once it is the time to travel. When she reached England , it is raining season. Everyday she will bring an umbrella to go and do some shopping. After her lessons , everytime she has free time , she will go and shop , but she will make sure that it will never clash with her lesson time. Her 2 guy teachers once thought that such complicated and difficult dance moves will be impossible for her to learn in such a short time. But a few days later, her teachers gave her a remark “speedy improvements”.
