Softbank Mobile this week enlisted American singer Leah Dizon, 21, to introduce its new handsets which feature replaceable covers with Japanese traditional texture patterns. At an event at Omotesando to unveil the handsets, Dizon said, “The covers are stylish and gorgeous. We don’t have these patterns in the U.S. They’re very rare.”
Asked how she has coped with Japanese culture since she came to Japan two years ago, Dizon said, “I can’t eat sashimi yet. But Japanese men are nice. My type is a gentle and strong person.”
