MBC announced on the 9th, “‘Dae Jang Geum’ will be dubbed into Russian and will be aired daily at 8pm on DVTRK starting in March.”
DVTRK commented, “A female success story will appeal to the sentiment of Russians as well. As the eastern region also holds Asian sentiment as well, we hope the area can serve as a gateway for Korean culture to spread throughout Russia.”
Meanwhile, the deal consisted of partial advertising revenue shares as opposed to the sale of only the broadcasting rights.
