Newly crowned, Miss Chinese International, Sarah Song and pageant first and second runner ups, Ivy Lu and Sherry Chen yesterday flew to Guangzhou to receive their jewellery prizes. The winners then did an unveiling ceremony with Shirley Yeung.
During her interview, Sarah disclosed that she has been sleeping well after her win. Regarding her golden sceptre, Sarah commented, ?I will find a special case to put it in. It is very heavy! At the moment, I have not thought about entering the entertainment industry because I still have one year to go till I finish my university course. I will leave it up to my company to decide.? Sarah then expressed that she was unaware of accidental exposure while she was performing with a hula-hoop and that she was only concentrating on finishing the performance in 1 minute.
At the event, Shirley Yeung supported Hong Kong?s representative, Aimee Chan, she commented, ?There are a lot of factors that are involved with beauty competitions. Perhaps she was unfamiliar with the surroundings which is something she must overcome. Winning no awards is nothing bad. As long as she tried her best, Hong Kong citizens will still support her.?
