The 12 Miss Hong Kong contestants appeared at the “Most Popular Television commercial Awards 2008” promotional event yesterday. During the event they voted for their favourite TV commercials.
This event attracted many of the public who were into photography and when the contestants arrived, they kept their attention on hot door contestant no.4 Go Hoi Ling. It seemed that she loved the attention and posed in several different poses. There was a time when she went near to the barricades so that they could take a closer shot of her. Afterwards she explained that she thought they were professional reporters but didn’t feel awkward. The most important thing is that they have taken beautiful shots.

Recently, her form 5 graduation pictures were revealed to the media and she had an outstanding figure back then too. She smiles and says “That’s good then, it proves that my body is natural and not had surgery”.
Yiu Ting Chi earning money to travel the world
Contestant no 8 Yiu ting Chi had previously appeared in commercials before. Although most of the companies asked her to portray a young mother or married wife. But the most noticeable one would probably be the underwear advertisement. (Asked if she did mind about having to portray a mother figure often in her commercials?) She smiles “I don’t mind, the most important thing is that I meet the standards of the company that I’m advertising for”. (Would you get married early to become a young mother?) “I plan to get married late, perhaps when I reach 30 then I will consider marriage. My ambition is to travel to world so I hope that while I’m young I can earn a lot of money”.

While filming abroad contestant no 8. Ma Choi had damaged skin conditions on her face. But since coming back to Hong Kong the conditions have not improved and got worse. She explains “I have seen the doctor and currently taking medication. He described that my conditions relate to a blocked pores condition and I need to rest more and not to apply any make-up”. (Does it affect your mood?) “I have learnt to relax and deal with it normally because mood and emotions can affect your skin conditions. That’s why I don’t think about it and just deal with it. (Do you think it’s because of the pressure competing in the pageant?) “Nothing to do with that at all, I have always considered the pageant as a summer course experience and under no pressure whatsoever. I don’t even think about receiving awards”.[by: kingkongit27@asianeu.net]
