TVB held a wrap up feast for the artists that competed in the show “Strictly Come Dancing Season 2”. Grace Wong who represented Hong Kong TVB won the show with her dancing partner Yu Hao Ming. Timmy Hung and Chen Lu were awarded second place, while Nancy Wu and Korea’s Nathan Lee Cheng Xuan came third. TVB had arranged 8 tables for the wrap up feast and invited previous guest judges such as Bill Chan (Shek Sau), Lau Dan etc. TVB’s executive’s Virginia Lok, Ho Lai Chuen and Producer Ho Siu Wai also appeared, giving flowers to the artists. The atmosphere was very lively.
Becoming the new “Dancing Queen” Grace Wong expresses that she is very happy. “This experience has taught me that no matter what problems I will face in the future, I will be able to handle them. I will not give up easily. I had gone through training everyday and the sweating obviously made me lose weight. Even my face looks thinner”. Grace would like to thank Kayi Cheung for her constant support. She had taught her to take it easy and not focus too much on the pressure of the competition.
Nancy Wu is Hot Favourite but win’s Third Place
Nancy Wu who had got full marks in the competition while dancing solo during earlier weeks was a hot favourite to win the competition. But she was placed third in the final show. Nancy states that she wasn’t disappointed and very happy for Grace. “I did 10 performances and I gained 40 points (Full marks) three times. I had also experienced a lot within this competition. I did my best and I think TVB and the audience were happy with my performances. Personally I am very satisfied with myself”. Nancy expresses that before she went on stage for her final performance, she nearly cried because she didn’t want to part with Nathan. After the show they both exchanged phone numbers to stay in contact. (Asked whether they have a chance to date?) Nancy immediately shakes her head and says its impossible. “He’s 3 years younger than me and he’s very active. I don’t think I could keep up with him”.
Myolie Wu can successfully perform a split, Angela Tong arrives late
Myolie Wu claimed that she was not disappointed about not receiving any awards. As before she started the show she had already considered she would lose. She didn’t know how to dance before and to be able to learn to dance was a very happy feeling. She claims that she had become very flexible and can successfully perform a split.
Angela Tong arrives at the party 1 hour late. Timmy Hung immediately jokes by saying to Angela “Say something, something about being late”. Angela states that she had already informed TVB that she would be arriving late. But she apologises “Due to my father leaving today I had to go to the airport that’s why I arrived late.
