To celebrate Hong Kong handover’s 10th anniversary, Roadshow organised a music show at Wanchai Convention Centre with singers Alan Tam, Hacken Lee, Miriam, Kenny B, Justin Lo, Jill, Stephanie Cheng, Lui Fong etc.
Miriam attended the show with the company of her boss Lin Jianyue. Miriam explained Lin Jianyue was there to accompany the organiser. There are rumours saying Sammi Cheng has lost the boss’s dote because of being proud and hence Miriam gets the attention’ Miriam replied, “Can’t be, that’s funny. Should be a joke. Boss doesn’t dote on anyone especially. I’m just doing a job.” Sammi’s concert was a success. Does Miriam feel pressurised for her own concert in October’ She felt everyone has different performance so she won’t be pressurised. She watched Sammi’s concert hoping to learn something from it and to have a feel of the atmosphere.
For her concert, Miriam will only be in charge of the singing and will not take part in the rest areas, just like her album she’ll leave everything to Leon. Her new song “Fa” has earned quite a bit from ringtone downloads and proved to be “Loh Lai”(lucky). Hence her concert will continue the spirit. However, Leon will be filming movies and won’t have time to deal with her concert, so she’ll leave it to her manager.
Miriam wore a low cut dress at the music show. When asked if she’s worried of exposing, she replied, “If I’m exposed I’ll have to celebrate, many people tried hard but it won’t happen. I don’t have the inborn qualities so I can’t help it.”
