Sammi and Miriam Yeung have both arrived in Vancouver for CCTV’s ‘The Same Song’. According to reports, although both will be seen on the same stage, they will not be singing together. Miriam is likely to be singing with Richie Jen, while Sammi has been arranged to duet with Liza Wang. They will perform an old hit ‘Happy Every Year’, and will be the penultimate act of the evening.
East Asia group boss Peter Lam was asked about this apparent in-fighting amongst the singers under his label as he attended Edison Chen’s new company’s press conference. He commented, “They are having steamboat and going skiing in Vancouver! Why don’t you call and check up with them I’ve checked up about this, and in reality, there’s nothing between the 2 of them. There are so many flights to Vancouver everyday, but people have been making a mountain out of a molehill, making stories up! I think we can make this into a New Year Movie!” The reporters played along and asked if they should name the movie, “Back to being good friends”, to which Peter Lam replied, “Yes!
