VIVIAN Hsu may be the biggest Taiwanese star signed to Avex Trax, but probably not for much longer.
Already, there is talk that Avex is unwilling to renew her recording contract due to unhappiness over the way she demanded superstar treatment without sparing a thought for the Chinese music industry slump.
No wonder Vivian, who just bagged a massive NT10million ($464,000) lingerie deal, is seen as being ‘difficult’, reported Sina.com.
Currently on a short hiatus, the 32-year-old singer-actress is reportedly enjoying a studying stint overseas.
An insider also told The New Paper that Vivian is never on time and has a reputation for cancelling promotional events at the eleventh hour, mostly citing illness.
‘She’s the ultimate - forever late and always pretending to be sick. Once, she caught a flu while filming a music video and two months later, she was still using that same excuse to cancel events.
‘Maybe she’s really that frail, but somehow I doubt it.’
