Fans in a Hong Kong discussion forum started a voting system where they voted for the worst singers and worst songs in 2006. The voting ended and the results were revealed. To make the results more realistic, they went as far as giving the “ceremony” a name, 樂壇金草莓頒獎典禮 2006; posting the results online exactly how actual award ceremony results are posted in newspaper and magazines, with pictures of the winners and made-up captions.

The biggest winner was Yumiko Cheng who picked the “Grand” Media Award. Aaron Kwok, who won nothing at the actual award ceremonies in Hong Kong, picked up an award here. And possibly the most undeserving winner was Leon Lai, who picked up .5 of an award, thanks to his duet with Chapman To.
