1. Vicki Zhao (赵薇)
Vicki Zhao who made her debut as Xiao Yan Zi in Princess Returning Pearl catches everyone’s attention. Her lovable character couldn’t make people not love her. Vicki Zhao is undeniably famous in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. She is also possible to be able to be an international star. Vicki Zhao is one of China’s “small flower”. (Fa Dan) In 2002, Vicki Zhao was in the Chinese entertainment circle top 50 most beautiful people. In 2004, she was also announced as mainland’s rich and powerful people.
2. Chen Hong (陈红)
Chen Hong is a Chinese actress and wife of the revered director Chen Kaige. In recent years, she co-produced Together and The Promise with others. She also played Diaochan in TV serial Romance of the Three Kingdoms
3. Chiu Nga Ji
(If I’m not mistaken, she’s the one who act as Ching Ching/Teng Teng in one of the tvb series with chow yun fat. Shanghai something. LOL. A lot of people like her though but she’s more to the older generation.)
4. Vivian Chow Wai Man (周慧敏)
I don’t think I need to say much more about Vivian Chow, do I? You guys all know her. Of course! The sweet, beautiful, gorgeous, kind-hearted, never-aging Vivian Chow. I’m so glad that she’s in the top 10. I’m so satisfied.
5. Cecilia Cheung Bak Zhi (张柏芝)
Most beautiful woman, Cecilia Cheung Bak Zhi relies on the clear elegant image and thus, gave her the title of “Pure Beautiful Woman” when she made her debut movie. Cecilia acted in movies, television, advertisement, magazine cover, fashion spokeswoman etc. At such a young age, Cecilia is one of the big star in the entertainment circle.
6. Maggie Cheung Man Yuk (张曼玉)
In 1983, Maggie Cheung Man Yuk won second place in Miss Hong Kong. Straightway entered the entertainment circle and acted in films and television series. Cooperated with many big stars and directors before. She is the Hong Kong actress who won the most awards. Maggie’s awards item include four times of Hong Kong Movie Oscar best leading lady, four Taiwan Golden Horse awards, the Berlin film preview best actress award, as well as Cannes movie queens.
7. Michelle Reis/Lee Ka Yan (李嘉欣)
“Most Beautiful Miss Hong Kong”. Since 18 years old when Michelle Reis won the Miss Hong Kong title, the word ‘beautiful’ has been following her and cannot being taken off her. The Hong Kong media even used the word “earth-shaking” to describe her appearance. Many people gave her the title or crow “The Vase” and “Most Beautiful Woman” which prevented her from performing her skills. Michelle Reis is actually a very low-key woman and she’s a person who learns fast.
8.Chris Lee ( 李宇春)
umm, i don’t really know who she is but when i was finding pics of her, there were heaps of them. Most of them are in short hair but I personally think that she looks betta in long hair…anyone know who she is? she must be really famous though.
9. Liu Yi Fei (刘亦菲)
Liu Yi Fei is really famous, when she was 15 years old, she made her debut. People mentioned her as undeniably beautiful and even used a chinese phrase to describe her. It’s “天上有，地上无”.(According to litoxcici,”天上有，地上无” this phrase translate as u can find it in the sky/heaven but not on earth.) Liu Yi Fei acted in a lot of series before such as “The Legend of Condor Heroes”, “Demi Gods and Semi Devils” and “Chinese Paladine”. Liu Yi Fei has a feature of a pure and flawless doll. People also calls her “fairy sister”.
10. Brigitte Lin Lam Ching Ha (林青霞)
She was born in Taipei, and was “discovered” in 1972 by a film producer, and first appeared in many Taiwanese romance films based on the novels of Qiong Yao, also known as Chiung Yao. She later switched over to more mainstream movies in Hong Kong. At the height of her popularity she was arguably one of the most sought after actress in the Chinese film industry. She starred in more than 100 movies.
Lin made a career of playing transgender roles: in Peking Opera Blues she plays a tomboy who dresses in male Western clothes; in New Dragon Gate Inn she is a woman who dresses as a man, and in Swordsman II and III she plays a castrated male fighter slowly turning into a woman.
She married businessman Michael Ying in 1994 and left the film industry, and now lives in Hillsborough, California. She has two daughters, born in 1997 and 2001.
