A few weeks ago, it was reported by the Hong Kong media that Gigi Lai arrived late during the filming one of the scenes. Gigi thought she was unjustly accused by the reporters, TVBs top executive Virginia Lok was also concerned that such news would affect Gigis image, hence TVB decided to fully investigate into the matter.
It was found out that Gigi needed to change her hairstyle constantly in this series, from straight hair to wavy hair and back again after each scene. On that day of shooting, she had to straighten her hair for the next scene, however, due to a mistake in the time slot she wasnt given enough time to fix her hair. The media who waited onset reported in the news that Gigi was late.
After TVBs investigation into the matter, it was decided that next time Gigi needs to change her hairstyle, the other actors will film their scenes first, giving her plenty of time to fix her hair. TVBs has fully investigated this matter to protect Gigis image, this is another indication of how much she is favored by TVB.[by hurree]
