A 37-year-old was found guilty Tuesday of stalking actress Uma Thurman.
After a week-long trial, a jury in the State Supreme Court in Manhattan found Jack Jordan guilty of one count of stalking and one count of second-degree aggravated harassment, but acquitted him on two additional counts of the same charge.
Though Jordan ‘ who faces a year in jail ‘ testified that he was involved in a harmless “game of cat and mouse” with the Kill Bill star, Thurman and her mother offered a different picture.
“He wanted to be with Uma Thurman and he would not take no for an answer,” lead prosecutor Jessica Tab said. “I mean, really, the manipulation here, you have to see it.”
Prosecutors argued that Jordan stalked Thurman on and off over the last three years, including showing up at her home and a NYC film set. He also sent strange cards and letters as well as suicidal rants about Thurman to the actress’ parents.
