Eason Chan is on the threshold of major stardom in Hong Kong. A skilled guitar, violin, and piano player and a powerful vocalist, Chan was praised for the “rough sound” of his debut 1997 album, Eason Chan’s Happy Days. Chan’s greatest success, however, has come as an actor is such Hong Kong-produced films as City of Glass, Jiang Hu: The Triad Zone, Lavender, Feel 100% II, Comic King, Visible Secret, Cops Shop Babes, Funeral March, and Tiramisu.
