Edison films ad in Taiwan

ACTOR Edison Chen has filmed a Levi’s jeans commercial in Taiwan, a year after he quit Hong Kong showbusiness ‘indefinitely’ over a sex photo scandal.

The Chinese Canadian quietly arrived in Taipei on Monday for the shoot on Tuesday, said Apple Daily. The report said he was also in talks to open an outlet of his fashion shop in Taiwan.

He was a spokesman for the jeans company in 2006 and has resumed their working relationship after it ended a contract with him last year when he announced he would quit showbusiness, said China Times.

Singer Jolin Tsai, who is also a Levi’s spokesman and has denied talk that she was involved in Chen’s scandal, was conspicuously absent from his shoot on Tuesday. Her shoot was scheduled for a separate day.
