A firefighter in Yangchahu, Hankou, Hubei Province, married his wife last Wednesday in the best way he knew how – with both standing atop a 72-m-high scaling ladder.
Wu Gang, the fireman, had been honored and mentioned numerous times for his contributions in the line of duty.
Wu’s colleagues suggested he tie the knot with his wife on the ladder he had stood on countless times to save lives.
Wu had met his wife on the Internet and both married after dating for five years.
