History Boys star to be new Dr Who?

History Boys actor Russell Tovey has been tipped to replace David Tennant as Doctor Who.
In a series of emails written last year, the show’s writer Russell T Davies proclaimed that the actor would be perfect for the role of the Time Lord when Tennant eventually quits the cult sci-fi series.
He writes, “Tovey is my favourite casting of the lot, because he’s going to be huge, man. He’s amazing. I think I would make him the 11th doctor.”
Tennant is rumoured to be leaving the hit show after completing a series of special episodes in 2009.
