September 11th, 2008 Posted in World Showbiz News

US teen sensations the Jonas Brothers have arrived in London for the premiere of Disney’s Camp Rock.

The brothers - Kevin, 20, Joe 19, and Nick, 15 will join co-star Demi Lovato, 16, on the red carpet later fresh from MTV’s Video Music Awards (VMAs) in Los Angeles.

At MTV’s VMAs, British comedian Russell Brand was forced to apologise to the band for making fun of the promise rings they were wearing.

Brand said: “I’ve got to say sorry because I said them things about promise rings. That were bad of me, I didn’t mean to take it lightly, or whatever.”

With the audience of 1,500 at the Royal Festival Hall, it will be the biggest premiere the film maker has ever staged in London.

Joe, who plays Shane Gray in the film, said: “We really enjoyed it and we hope people will love it.”

Kevin said it was fun “for all the family.” In the opening weekend in the US, Camp Rock attracted 24.5 million cinemagoers - making it Disney’s most successful film after High School Musical Two.

The brother’s third album, A Little Bit Longer is due for release this month.
