A lottery buyer in east China’s Jiangsu Province has won a record 20.56 million yuan (US$3 million) by spending just 2 yuan.
The 85th Super Sports Lottery had a prize pool of nearly 130 million yuan and a prize for the winner of 20.56 million yuan for one draw, far beyond the 80th lottery’s three 11.15 million yuan first prizes and making history for China’s lottery.
The lottery this time also had 11 second prize winners and each of these will collect 770,000 yuan cash.
