Maguire lands 28m Spider-Man deal

Tobey Maguire has reportedly landed a new 28 million deal to star in the next Spider-Man films.

The star will return as the webbed wonder in Spider-Man 4 and 5, which will be shot back-to-back for six months next year.

His contract reportedly includes a reduced schedule, with Maguire taking the mornings and evenings off so he has time to look after his 22-month-old daughter Ruby Sweetheart.

The Spider-Man movies have made over 2 billion at the worldwide box office.

The third film in the series was released in 2007.
