Sir Michael Caine refuses to do his own stunts - insisting he is too old to risk injuring himself.
The 75-year-old veteran actor is famed for taking part in dangerous movie sequences in classic films such as Get Carter and The Italian Job, but isn’t keen to continue his risk-taking ways.
And the star admits it was his years as a soldier in the Army which put him off further risking his neck.
He says, “I have done all those years of doing stunts. I try to avoid danger at all cost.
“I served in the occupation force in Berlin in 1951 and then the Korean war for one year. I got out as quick as I could. Ex-soldiers never do dangerous things. You used up all your luck.”
