Mr Bean’s teddy bear auctioned

The teddy bear from the Mr Bean TV show and movies has been sold for GBP180 at an auction.

The stuffed toy, the sidekick of comedian Rowan Atkinson’s character, joined a collection of bears up for sale, including a miniature of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s playhouse, complete with bear actors.

The bears were sold because the Teddy Bear Museum in Stratford-upon-Avon is being closed.
